The excursion “Green Canyon from Antalya" is a huge reservoir that is important for Turkey. In ancient times, there were several mountain lakes in this area. But after the Oymapinar dam was built here thirty years ago, the resulting freshwater reservoir became the 5th largest in the whole country.In addition to providing water and electricity to the entire region, the dam is also popular with local and foreign tourists. People come here for picnics, photo shoots and just to hide from the summer heat and contemplate nature. The water in the canyon seems to be emerald because of the high iron content. In combination with the lush vegetation around, the color of the water gave the name to the canyon.At our first stop, you will have the opportunity to see the entire canyon from above and capture this beautiful place on your camera!After the observation deck, you will go on a boat trip along the canyon itself.
