Day 1 Cairo and Giza Start with a 4:00 am pick-up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer to the airport for a 50-minute flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, meet your guide who will hold a sign with your name in the arrivals lounges. Start your full-day tour with a visit to the iconic Pyramids of Giza. Get up close to the legendary guardian Sphinx, standing next to the massive funerary complex with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren. After exploring the wonders of the Giza pyramid complex, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the day tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Cairo city. Discover the largest and most valuable Egyptian artworks in the world. It displays a rare collection of more than 250,000 original artifacts dating back 5000 years, including a special exhibition dedicated to King Tutankhamun. See the collection of treasures, gold and jewelry buried in his tomb for over 3500 years. Next, visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Explore the numerous shops in the area, known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo where you will check in and spend the night. Day 2: Alexandria After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Alexandria at approximately 7:00 am. Arrive in Alexandria at 10:00 and start your day tour by first visiting the Roman Theater. Built to accommodate up to 800 spectators, it features several galleries, mosaic flooring and a beautiful garden. Next, visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa. This three-tiered necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, sculptures and archaeological objects from the Pharaonic funerary cult. See Alexandria's modern library, Qaitbay Fortress and Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then depart for Cairo airport for your return flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred back to your hotel.
